Hi to all!

I have made my second game for Experimental Gameplay Project.

This time the theme was "5 button competition" and is just amazing, visit the EGP site to check why.

My game is called "Crazy Fossil Fuel Racers" and is a 5 player racing game. Maybe it could look a mess at the beginning with all that players at the same screen and place, but that's part of the gameplay. When 2 or more players drop from the race it becomes more interesting. Each race is very fast paced, so it's not a pain to wait for the next race.

FleaZ - My Experimental Gameplay Project "Cheap Clone" game!

I have chosen to clone some clones in a satirical way...

My target games to clone is the bunch of pet simulators that are available for Nintendo ds since the boom of Nintendogs (all that games with the name of an animal+letter Z at the end).

To add some extra weirdness points to my game I have chosen my old Amstrad CPC 464 computer (over 25 years old) to run my game. The oldest hardware I have is now used to make some satire of one of the latest games (Nintendogs) of the latest console (3DS)... well something so weird must be worth the time!

The workflow has been something like this in general terms.

-Idea + flowchart + "engrish" texts.

-Graphics made on Animanatee for dsi.

-40x25pixels(3colors ) to ASCII conversion.

-Locomotive basic coding on notepad++

-Winape to test the code and generate a .wav tape sound to load it on the real CPC

-Video recording.

-Stereo 3d to anaglyph conversion.

-Editing.

-Uploading to Youtube, linking,etc.

-Writing this.

First entry: MiniLD #25

The last weekend I decided to participate at the Mini Ludum Dare 25 contest. The theme was "The Worst Game I Have Ever Made".
I had some bad ideas, but they evolved into "not so bad" ideas and I rejected them before starting the work. I decided to start working on the last bad idea I had and it was also evolving into a "not so bad" idea during the development. Maybe I should have made the proper changes to fit it better into the contest idea but it was getting interesting and I decided to let the game development flow freely until the end.

The result is "Rock Paper Scissor Multi Dimensional Tournament" a five minutes flash game that features:
- Rock Paper Scissors gameplay.
-13 different enemies shown as photographs of old toys and objects in a cute Pokemon layout.
- 3 game modes including "current generation" game play so even your dog could finish the game.
- An end screen with a trophy and a lot of toys!

That's all, go and try it!

Madeinpda Timeline:

2004
Madeinpda was a comic strip (spanish) about PDA humour made in a PDA to be read at a PDA. To do this I built my own design software for my PDA and some tools to speedup the publishing process. I made only 30 comic strips.

2006
The two main characters of Madeinpda were used again into a short animated movie about UFO movie cliches. I had ideas for other short movies. But I made only one.

2011
Nowadays I have weird ideas about games, animations, 3D... and I want to use again those characters... so maybe this could be the begining of a bigger new thing!!!
